This is not the most aesthetic of topics but this house needs a cup reorg and I am taking you along with me.

We have three kids at three different phases which makes for a lot of different cups. Half of our cups are old and need to be tossed and the other half need to find a home.

I’ve done some research and here is how I am making moves to lessen the amount of space cups and water bottles take up in our kitchen and refresh to get the best product for each of our kids ages.

First of all organzization... I purchased this water bottle storage rack and it's great! I bought two and I am able to fit almost all of the water bottles here which has cleared up a lot of space for all the little kid cups we also have.

Below are our top five kid cups and kid water bottles that we continue to purchase. This top five is in no particular order and the ages listed below are based on my experience...

  1. Ekobo kids cup, ages 4-10: These are the perfect size as I rarely find any left behind filled to the brim. They are easy to wash and I am currently purchasing more just becasue my middle now drinks out of these as well. At the current stage we are in, we use cups without lids for snacks and meal time at the table only.

  2. Nalgene Tritan Grip-N-Gulp kids water bottle, ages 2-5: These are great for taking all over the house. These can spend a whole night horizontal without a drip. These were one of the first cups we transfered our kids over to after the Munchkin Any Angle Sippy Cup listed below.

  3. Zak Designs Kelso toddler cups, ages 3-8: These are our night time cups. These go by their beds. Mainly because they are easy to switch out and the kids LOVE the designs. They are spill proof which is key and a good size to last a few nights.

  4. Munchkin any angle sippy cup, ages 6 months-3: These are the ones, these are the ones we go to first and they work without fail, with three different kids at least. They are an easy transition to learning how to drink out of a cup and the weighted straw is key to making sure there is water with every sip. I think I will always love these cups. :)

  5. Simple Modern kids water bottle with straw lid, ages 3-10: After a lot of water bottle research I believe Simple Modern has the best quality for the price point. Some of these other brands are just too expensive for kids to lose at gymnastics. These are worth going back and continuing to purchase in my mind.

Whether you're looking for durability, design or ease of use, the cups listed above are all excellent choices that we love. Happy sipping!
